  2. Kia Ora Maria!

It's so great to see you blogging over the holidays, it's a good way to keep up with your reading and writing skills and a good way to continue positive relationships online with your peers while you're not at school. Another way you can do this is through our programme - the Winter Learning Journey. It's a free blogging programme that takes you on an online journey through New Zealand...

To participate, log onto the Winter Learning Journey website and click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab. You will find 21 different activities on the website to choose from. To complete an activity, simply post your answer on your school blog site and we will read your answer and post a comment. We will also give you points and, at the end of the holiday, come back to your school to give you a Participation Certificate. We will also bring prizes for the top three bloggers in the school.

Please consider joining us this holiday! We'd love to blog with you!

    Nicky :)

  3. Hi Maria,
I am so impressed to see you blogging! It was great to know what you are up to in the holidays. It is nice to know that you like to go and help the pre schoolers, just like you help everyone in class with their learning. Your Nana must be so proud of you.
I am in Australia with my daughter and the weather is not too cold as in New Zealand.
If you do not have access to your brother or sister's computer at home, then you could go to Panmure Library to post your blogs, or otherwise, I am sure they would have a computer at your Nana's pre-school. I am sure they would let you use it for a little while if you asked them nicely.
Keep blogging... I would love to hear more from you. Enjoy the rest of your holidays!
